Billy Gould from “Faith No More” makes a Bulgarian song remix

The “Faith No More” legendary bass guitarist Billy Gould starts his work over an earth-shaking cover of the song “Stay as you are”, played by the popular Bulgarian rock band “Tangra”. He is planning to distribute his new hit in America once the remix is ready. In Bulgaria Gould is cooperating with the music producer Vassil Varbanov, who works at “Graffitti Studio” (www.graffittistudio.com) a group of 10 various musicians to take part in the project. The Bulgarian recording studio is famous with successful productions for labels like “Cafe del Mar”, “Fashion TV” compilations and many more.

The “The X Files” team and “Graffitti Studio” unite efforts over a unique movie soundtrack project

Greg Roach, director of the world famous TV serial “The X Files” and Mark Snow, composer of the series’ music, took part in the making of the Bulgarian movie “The Hamlet Adventure” in the company of their Bulgarian associate Ivaylo Dikanski. Heading the team of the international co-production, they accepted the challenge to climb up and shoot at 2600 m above the sea level in the mountains of Rila. According to the concept the mountain should provide its naturalism for the film scenes, so an open stage was specially designed for the case to be built on the shore of the highest Rila’s lake. The facility was planned for complicated choreography of dances, pantomime and theater despite the sub-zero temperatures, prevailing outside at the most time. Filled with enthusiasm and astonished at the magnificent surrounding, people sometimes let themselves to be rushed on by hidden dangers. A mistake due to careless behavior ended with dangerous consequences for Mark Snow, who broke an arm and left the shooting ground, forced to continue his work at a quitter place.
The movie has been followed by bad luck all the way. Within 10 years the project has been failing due to various reasons and finally abandoned. The work was restored this year enlightened by the idea to actually shoot a story of “How we failed to shoot a movie”. The final touch was put at the famous “Graffitti Studio” where the movie production achieves an exquisite sound.

“The interesting part in this production was the very concept which is a mixture of movie and documentary”, says Oggy Kiossovsky from Graffitti Studio. “The Hamlet’s adventure” is based on a true story of how a movie shooting can turn into a nightmare.

Bulgarian company does an interactive work on a Microsoft new product

The Bulgarian multimedia production company “Graffitti Studio” was invited to do the voice over work on a new video application for the software giant “Microsoft”. The interactive application is build to educate the users on the new company product “Silverlight”. According to the analysis the video instruction course would make the program much more accessible for the customers and would ensure an easy navigation while introducing them to its functions and specifications. With the new application “Silverlight” Microsoft opposes Adobe and its “Flash” product. Many analysts are positive that this move shows the intention of conquering new market positions by opposing alternative products to popular soft wares.

As a part of the project “Graffitti Studio” recorded and developed the audio and voice over work for the video navigator in multiple languages.

Bulgarian Media Production Company recorded a voiceover project with Morgan Freeman, advertising the biggest airport worldwide

The “Graffitti Studio” multimedia company was approved to dub a commercial movie for the biggest airport in the world, which is being built in Dubai at the moment. The advertising campaign took place with the special participation of the Hollywood star Morgan Freeman, who is shooting a new film in Bulgaria. The actor was invited personally by the UAE Emir to join the project in order to provide his voice for the Dubai airport. The video narrates the history of Dubai aviation and presents in details the unique facility’s potential and advantages. The airport layout has been developed according to the best modern technical standards in the construction business. The airport will have six giant runways and capacity for travelers and cargo, exceeding in times this of the Heathrow airport. It is expected that there will be traffic of 120 million passengers, as well as cargo of total weight of 12 million tons, passing through the airport yearly. Besides, the design engineering plans reveal that it will be only a small part of a vast complex, which will cover a range of 140 square kilometers. The complex includes also trade, industrial, tourist and living areas. In addition it will be equipped with many centers, providing sport, recreation, information and entertaining services. The project costs 60 billion dollars and is going to be finished in 2009.
